My Work
~ My main blog for my Berlin study abroad trip where I document my travels throughout the city and Introduction to Multimedia Communication class, which I dicscuss the different forms of communication and how to make an integrated marketing plan.
~ My final project for my Law of Mass Communication course, "The War on Coverage" is about the ethics and issues of embedded journalism. I examine the media-military history and legal precedents that inform the current situation of this practice today. Ultimately, the court has ruled that the media gaining access to information during wartime is not a right, but a privilege.
~ I wrote this piece of nonfiction for my Journalism as Literature course. Still needs a lot of work, but one day, I hope to get this published as it is about someone very close to my heart.
~ This was my blog for my literary journalism course. Pretty much what it sounds like, literary journalism is a hybrid form between nonfiction and fiction writing, mixing journalistic and literary elements. For class, I had to write weekly responses to the readings, which included pieces from writers like Tom Wolfe, Hunter S. Thompson, Truman Capote and Joan Didion.
~ I created this blog for my editing course during my undergrad. When I was little, I used to perform, so writing about the arts combines two of my favorite things.
